The heel strap closes with a buckle and there are two Velcro closures - one on the instep and one at the base of the toes. Better still: do your feet swell during hot summer days? Then just loosen the Velcro fasteners as required. Good to know: this sandal has a removable footbed and is best suited for a somewhat slimmer foot.
