✓ Don’t forget the inside of vegan shoes
Taking care of vegan materials
Vegan materials
Vegan is something we’ll be seeing more of in the Wolky collection from now on. Vegan stands for the use of animal-free materials. More and more great materials are coming onto the market for shoemaking. At Wolky we often work with microfibre. This is a synthetic material, just as all non-leather materials are synthetic. Vegan shoes require different care from leather shoes.
1
Protect
Shoes made of synthetic materials have an open structure, so it is very important to protect them against moisture and dirt. We recommend the Wolky All Protect Spray or the Carbon Pro Spray. These sprays provide high-performance impregnation, keeping your shoes looking great for longer.
2
Clean
Besides protecting your vegan shoes, it is important to clean them from time to time. Cleaning removes dirt from the pores of the material, which prevents unpleasant odors from building up. The most important is cleaning the vegan footbeds every now and then. To do this, simply remove the footbeds from the shoes, wipe them down with a little soap and water and let them dry thoroughly. Et voilà – as good as new!
