Wolky soles

In some cultures, it is not typical to show the bottom of your shoes. Fortunately, not with us; Wolky Shoes are made to be seen!

Wolky's are special both inside and out. Characteristic is the anatomically shaped, often removable footbed. What many people do not know is that the soles of Wolky are also striking. Why? Wolky soles are exclusive. All soles are designed by Wolky itself and the choice of materials is always very consciously chosen. The sole actually determines the overall profile of the shoe.

Each sole requires its own mold, which is an extremely accurate and time-consuming activity. Many shoemakers, therefore, choose to use "general molds". Wolky sees the soles as an important part of the comfort and design of a shoe and that is why we make all molds ourselves. When you realize that 8 molds are required for each model (1 for each size) you can imagine that we have collected a large archive of molds over the years!
