The name ‘biker boot’ comes from the motorbike scene. Motorcyclists used to wear – and some are still wearing – high sturdy boots, which offered protection for their feet and legs in case of bad weather or worse, injuries. Luckily you no longer have to be a motorcyclist to wear biker boots!
